☆ I will say I was not a big fan of the newest Barbie movie 202-whatever bc at the end of the day… it was a movie about Ken. I know I know that that’s the whole point of this Barbie movie but like I wanted a movie that empowers women for women’s sake, really showing off their talents, but it was mostly about the Ken’s taking over and being jealous of the Barbie’s… the movie had a lot modern commentary and value to it, but should’ve been called “Ken” instead…☆

I used to play with Barbie’s until I was in 5th grade. My mom really supported my doll collection but one day I just got “too old”. I was never ready to let go of them but when we moved to Texas they disappeared, and I didn’t think much of it tbh. As an adult going through the Barbie isles and seeing wheel chair Barbie, doctor Barbie and more accurate representations of black Barbie’s hair styles, mannnn, do I wish I kept playing with Barbie’s lol. One day I’ll find the Barbie that I want to collect to display in my place…. maybe I’ll even take her out the box & take her to the pool lol.
